LLB 3-Year Course – CAP Round-I Admission Process

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has announced the schedule for CAP Round-I Seat Allocation and Admission for the 3-Year LL.B. Course for the Academic Year 2026–27. All candidates are advised to carefully note the following schedule and instructions and complete the admission formalities within the prescribed time.

CAP ROUND-I SEAT ALLOCATION

Date: 19 August 2026
Time: 5:00 PM onwards

The CAP Round-I Seat Allocation Result will be published by the Maharashtra State CET Cell. Candidates should log in to their CET Cell candidate account and check:

  • Whether a seat has been allotted to VPM's TMC Law College, Thane (Aided/Unaided Section), wherever applicable.
  • The course and category details of the allotment.
  • The instructions issued by the CET Cell regarding further admission formalities.

Candidates are advised to check their allotment status immediately after the result is published.

REPORTING TO THE COLLEGE

Candidates who are allotted VPM's TMC Law College, Thane through CAP Round-I are required to visit the College personally for document verification and completion of the admission process.

Dates: 20 August 2026 to 22 August 2026
Time: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Candidates are requested to report during the above-mentioned period and cooperate with the Admission Committee for timely completion of the process.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Candidates must:

  • Bring all original documents required for admission for verification.
  • Bring three sets of self-attested photocopies of the required documents.
  • Arrange the documents in the prescribed order.
  • If the marksheet is in Grade/CGPA format, obtain the required Marks Conversion Certificate from the respective College/University, wherever applicable.
  • Keep a clear PDF copy of each required document ready for online verification and uploading.

Important:

  • A separate PDF should be prepared for each document. Candidates should not merge all documents into one PDF.
  • The PDF files should be kept as small as reasonably possible while ensuring that the documents remain clear and readable.
CONFIRMATION OF ADMISSION AND FEES

After the documents are verified and the admission is confirmed, candidates shall pay the applicable admission fees as per the instructions of the CET Cell and the College. Payment will be accepted through online mode only. No cash payment will be accepted. Candidates should complete the admission process well within the prescribed period and should not wait until the last day.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
  • Admission can be processed only against a valid CAP allotment issued by the Maharashtra State CET Cell.
  • The College is required to follow the rules, procedures and instructions prescribed by the CET Cell and cannot independently alter or bypass the CAP admission procedure.
  • Candidates must produce their original documents for verification as required under the admission procedure.
  • Candidates are requested to approach the Admission Committee for admission-related assistance and clarification.
  • Candidates should regularly check their CET Cell candidate login, official CET Cell notifications and the College website for any updates, changes or additional instructions.

PLEASE NOTE

The candidate is responsible for completing all admission formalities within the prescribed period. Any delay or failure to complete the required formalities may affect the candidate's admission, subject to the rules and directions of the Maharashtra State CET Cell. In case of any change, clarification or further instruction issued by the Maharashtra State CET Cell, the latest official notification/instruction of the CET Cell shall prevail.

Candidates are requested to cooperate with the Admission Committee and ensure that all required documents and formalities are completed within the prescribed schedule.
